- Account information: Email address, name, and profile photo when you register via Google OAuth or email/password
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data
- Trial codes: Brokerage or referral codes you enter to activate trial access
- Communications: Any messages you send to support@dealedgeapp.com
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Scenarios completed, session duration, scores, and performance history
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Log data: IP address, pages visited, timestamps, and referring URLs
- Voice session data: Text transcripts of your negotiation practice sessions used to generate AI responses and scoring feedback. Audio is processed in real time and is not permanently stored
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Track your progress and generate performance scores
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, subscription renewal reminders)
- Respond to support requests and inquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share your data only with the following trusted service providers, solely to operate the Service:
- Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and session progress are stored on Supabase servers. Supabase Privacy Policy

- Anthropic — AI language model powering negotiation scenario responses. Session text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic Privacy Policy
- ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech voice synthesis for AI characters. Session text is sent to ElevenLabs for audio generation. ElevenLabs Privacy Policy
- Vercel — Hosting and content delivery for the web application. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Railway — Backend server infrastructure. Railway Privacy Policy
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of DealEdge and its users.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure authentication via Supabase with hashed passwords
- OAuth 2.0 for Google sign-in — we never see or store your Google password
- Access controls limiting who can access production data
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request
- Session and progress data: Retained for the life of your account to power progress tracking
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required for financial and tax compliance
- Voice/audio data: Not permanently stored. Processed in real time and discarded after the session response is generated
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to the processing of your data in certain circumstances

8. Cookies & Tracking
DealEdge uses minimal cookies and local storage necessary to operate the Service:
- Authentication tokens: To keep you logged in across sessions
- Session state: To remember your current scenario and progress within a session
- Preference storage: To remember language preferences (EN/ES)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar behavioral tracking services.
You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time. Doing so will log you out of the Service.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
